Life

I am, by Merriam-Webster’s defintion, a multi-hyphenate. I prefer to call it the versions of me: past, present, and to be.

A classically trained clarinettist who long ago ceased to emit a note from her mouthpiece. A singer-songwriter who has not graced the stage in many moons. However, I remain a soul connaisseur and forever in love with the language of music.

I used to talk and write about money. I got around on the internet for a minute, having been featured on podcasts and stages, and in media outlets such as Grammy.com, Forbes, US News & World Report, Business Insider, Fast Company, Travel Noire, Thrive Global, Yahoo! Finance and News, and Glamour. The introvert in me eventually said stop with all of that and let the finfluencers take over.

A semi-retired GenX solopreneur who herds cats works with clients via program and project management consulting in Tech and Healthcare. There are many days that are good. The others days, I want to sign out of MS Teams permanently, build a tiny house on a half-acre of land and experience life with my husband, a horse, a couple of goats, a dog and a cat.

For a time, I shared my musings at The Slow Life Society. Sometimes I dream of new things to share. By the time I wake up, I prefer to start my day with a cup of tea and the idea of a post quickly falls to the wayside. Perhaps one day, the dreams will come to life anew on Substack.
